The most valuable Christmas present? A real guitar at the age of eleven!
After self-taught learning and first band adventures, years of study at the conservatory in Feldkirch and courses at the St. Gallen Jazz School followed.
My musical highlight? Tommy Emmanuel's enthusiasm at his guitar camp in Rome (2025) after I played him one of my own songs.
Whether as a singer-songwriter in an acoustic duo, as a musical guitarist, or as an accompanying or studio guitarist in various formations - music never lets me go.
Fingerstyle, folk, country, pop, rock – I play what I like.

July 29, 2026 15 Years Later – The Same Sound A friendship. A shared history. Two new songs. Some encounters in life never truly disappear. They simply wait for the right moment to come alive again. Fifteen years ago, we stood together on stage for the last time — music in our hearts and full of energy. After that, our paths went separate ways. But one thing always remained: our friendship and our passion for honest, handcrafted music. Then, suddenly, that special moment returned. Not beneath the spotlight of a stage, but in the magical atmosphere of a recording studio. Standing side by side with Roland Stieger again felt familiar from the very first note. It was as if we had simply continued where we had left off years before. No big words were needed. A few chords, a glance, a smile — and the shared passion was there again. Authentic, inspiring, and filled with exactly the kind of joy that makes creating music so unique. We recorded two new songs written by my late brother Peter and me: 🎶 BACK BURNER 🎶 TICK-TOCK No overproduced sound, but instead room for what truly matters: honest lyrics, warm acoustic sounds, and genuine emotions. I’m looking forward to sharing these new songs with you soon.
